Playing around with ChatGPT one thing that stood out to me is that it is not good at replicating how particular famous people speak (e.g. if you prompt it to give you a transcript of Joe Rogan interviewing Kamala Harris about her nootropic stack or whatever.) That's understandable, given the relative lack of text-based examples it has to draw on, but I would love to know what makes it default to everyone to talking like *this*.
