Yes, absolutely -- you can see an "evil" version of this very easily (and I think that's what a lot of people assumed when they first read the post), but unlike a lot of investors and founders Fenley is eager to obey the law and get along with the town he's moved to, and I think he genuinely does want to build his dream makerspace with the best intentions, not just to make a buck. There's none of the whiny self-pity you see with Silicon Valley types and it makes a big difference.
