A real missed opportunity to include the WSJ line "in Murder Village there is often no one to kill" —which I have not, and cannot, stop thinking about. But an excellent read, as always
Let the record show that the audience for Max Read reports hold a consensus view that the Metaverse is in fact, undeniably funny - especially in context to the reported $10.19 billion in net losses in 2021 alone. Further investigation into the reported losses on Meta-related investments and specific details on 'how the fuck somebody spends $10 billion dollars' would be an excellent addendum to the report, if at all possible.

the WSJ bit really does read like the nightclub in Snow Crash. so, in a sense, kudos.
Excellent review….
